The participants of this event discussed innovative transport technologies

KNRTU-KAI became one of the main venues of the 118th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Innovative Technologies for the Development of Modern Automotive Industry.” The conference was held on April 17-18, 2024.

The conference was organized by the Association of Automotive Engineers together with Sollers PJSC with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Association of Russian Automakers, the National Association of Automotive Component Manufacturers, CJSC Innovation and Production Technopark "Idea" and KNRTU-KAI.

The main objectives of this forum were to exchange information and discuss prospects for the development of innovative technologies in the modern automotive industry, establish relations and cooperation in the field of testing, development, production, operation and vehicle approval.

The specialists from Russia and foreign manufacturers of cars and automotive components, scientific and technical centers and higher educational institutions, transport organizations, representatives of executive authorities of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries attended the upscale event.

The conference topic was quite relevant due to the increasing use of intelligent, electric, hybrid systems in the automotive industry, rising interest in modern technologies from the scientific community, automotive companies and government agencies.

Dr. Vitaly Babushkin, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of KNRTU-KAI, opened the conference with a welcoming speech: “I believe that our cooperation with the conference organizer, Sollers PJSC, will grow and be filled with creative youth ideas.”

According to Mr. Denis Novikov, the HR Director of Sollers PJSC, the company is interested both in the university’s research development and training of future enterprise specialists. The company and the university have recently outlined the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in building technological chains in the automotive industry and implementing new projects.
