The event is based on RUDN University in Moscow and attended by more than 450 delegates from 128 universities in 27 countries.
22 May, the QS WORLDWIDE international forum opened in RUDN University. The forum is a working platform for sharing experiences, concluding of agreements and finding foreign partners for the implementation of scientific, academic and socially significant projects of the world's leading universities.
The main issue discussed at the QS WORLDWIDE is the role of rankings in the global Higher Education system.
The head of the department for recruitment and work with foreign citizens of the Office of International Activities Dina Valeeva and the leading editor of the Office of Public Relations Renat Temirgaleev represented the KNRTU-KAI at the event. They provided information on the KNRTU-KAI and the opportunities that it gives to one of the leading technical universities in Russia. They also took part in the discussion panels on the directions «Strategies for University Excellence: Ranking, Branding and Beyond» and «Cross-Border Academic Collaboration and FRaculty Internationalization». Forum will last until the 23th of May.
British rating company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) specialized in education was founded in 1990 by Nunzio Quacquarelli. The rankings published by QS are now known as the QS World University Rankings.
QS WORLDWIDE is the 2nd Annual Strategic Summit for the Advancement of University Excellence in all its Forms. QS WORLDWIDE mission is «to promote higher education in Russia and Central Asia by means of international cooperation» and «to maintain the processes that lead to worldwide recognition of the universities in Russia and Central Asia».
