The XVIII International Scientific Conference "Chemistry and Ecology Engineering" was held at the University from September 27 to September 29, 2018.
On September 27-29, 2018 the Department of General Chemistry and Ecology of the KNRTU-KAI hosted the 18th International Scientific Conference "Chemistry and Engineering Ecology" (school of young scientists) with great success. The co-founders of the conference, along with our university, were the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan, the Public Chamber of Tatarstan, Samara State Technical University, Samara Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Tajik Technical University named after M.S. Osimi, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Italy.
Traditionally, young scientists and their tutors from leading Russian and foreign technical universities and research institutes took part at the conference.
The participants discussed how to solve different actual problems in engineering ecology, including in the field of environmental monitoring, greening technologies in the production of high-tech power engineering and instrument-making, ensuring the environmental safety of territories.
Also young scientists presented their research projects for the International Competition of Youth Research Projects in the following areas:
- Environmental Engineering
- Ecological and industrial safety
- Environmental monitoring and control
- Ecological chemistry
