KNRTU-KAI Expands Partnership in Shipbuilding

Representatives from "AK Bars" shipbuilding company and Krylov science centre (Saint-Petersburg).

On October 30th, a trilateral meeting with the participation of the university management, the Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation and the Krylov State Research Center (St. Petersburg) took place at KNRTU-KAI. Parties discussed the perspectives for interaction.

Vladimir Nikitin, Director General of the Krylov Centre, acquainted the KAI delegation with center team, and also with the scientific directions. Albert Gilmutdinov, rector of the university noted that the Krylov Center and KNRTU-KAI have many points of contact and promised to come to St. Petersburg on a visit.

 

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of opening a specialized shipbuilding department at KNRTU-KAI, and heads of delegations came to the agreement to invite the Krylov Center employee to lead this project.

Earlier, "Ak Bars" Shipbuilding Corporation" and the Krylov State Research Center signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.
