Round University Ranking (RUR) issued new subject rankings list of high educational institutions.
Our university was ranked 15th in the Round University Ranking Natural Sciences World University Ranking released recently. All in all, KNRTU-KAI ended up 383rd among all universities in ranking.
Kazan aviation institute even beat ITMO University in St-Petersburg, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Ural Federal University, and also Kazan State University with the best score being in education.
Among Russian universities, KAI was ranked 7th by individual indicators like in Teaching, Research and International Diversity.
The just-released Natural Sciences ranking looked at programs that include physics, mathematics and chemistry.
Round University Ranking (RUR Ranking) – the first international ranking of universities of Russian origin. The chart evaluates 20 indicators in four basic spheres: education (40% importance), research (40% importance), international diversity (10%) and financial sustainability (10%) (http://roundranking.com/methodology.html). It should be reminded that this year KNRTU-KAI has already got 4 stars in QS Stars University Ratings from the British consulting company QS Quacquarelli Symonds, and also improved its ranking by 7 positions in RAEX rating of Russian universities.
