The "Design and Maintenance of Aircraft Engines" Summer School

The Summer School for Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU, China) students in held in KNRTU-KAI.

The "Design and Maintenance of Aircraft Engines" Summer School is held in Kazan National Research Technical University – KAI from August 17 to September 2.  The program for the school was formed by the "Albatross" Educational Center at the request of the University of China. The Summer School is held under the "Education export" federal project.

Among the participants are bachelors, masters and postgraduate students. The group also has two mentors. One of them, Huang Shen, have graduated  at KNRTU-KAI at the Department of Jet Engines and Power Plants.

 

 

The extensive program of the summer school includes lectures and practical classes on a given topic, acquaintance with the university, excursions to scientific centers and laboratories, and, of course, deepening the history and culture of Kazan  and the Republic of Tatarstan. Foreign listeners have already managed to stroll around the Kremlin, visit the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, and enjoy an air show at the "I Choose the Sky" festival.

 

 

After completion of the summer school, all participants will receive a certificate of professional development under the program “Design and Operation of Aircraft Engines”. Besides, concerned students can continue their studies at KNRTU-KAI.

"We try to introduce the students to the university as much as possible, show them the infrastructure, technical equipment, laboratories so that caring students come to us to continue their studies", - commented one of the project’s coordinators, document specialist of EC Albatross Faina Latipova.
