KNRTU-KAI Female Graduate on Mount Elbrus!

Julia Steryakova has reached the top of the highest mountain peak in Europe.

On July 18, 2017, at 8:35 am, Julia Steryakova, who is 2014 graduate of the Institute for Computer Technologies and Information Protection of KNRTU-KAI, climbed the highest point of Europe and Russia, the Mount Elbrus (5642 m) during a group climbing carrying the flag of KAI.

Congratulations to our brave Julia! 

Mount Elbrus is the highest mountain in Russia and in Europe, and the tenth most prominent peak in the world. A dormant volcano, Elbrus is in the Caucasus Mountains in Southern Russia, near the border with Georgia.
