On Monday, February 5, the ceremony of awarding the XIII Annual Republican Prize "Student of the Year-2017" was held.
There were announced names of the winners in 19 categories: the best athletes, artists, representatives of student media, scientific and public organizations.
In 2017, KNRTU-KAI was the best in two categories: the Student Project of the Year and the Student Government Authority. The best project was the All-Russia festival of small student theaters "Ikariada", which took place in November. Alfredo Refana, an activist and former President of the Association of Foreign Students of KNRTU-KAI, also received a special prize in the "Foreign Student" category.
Prizes were also awarded to the "Sever" student construction team, "Delta" student design bureau and "KAI Zilant" sports club.
