University representatives from both countries shared experiences and discussed the opportunities of cooperation.
On Monday, October 15, representatives from UA Ruhr visited KNRTU-KAI. Guests were concerned with our university experience in magistracy education abroad. Delegation interested in GRIAT they asked about entrance, flying faculty, education and thesis defense.
In the beginning, Alexander Snegurenko, Head of the Department of International Activities, presented the university and modern development directions of KNRTU-KAI.
Dr. Christian Wolner, Managing Director of the Ruhr University Scientific School (Bochum), spoke about the organization. The University Alliance of the Ruhr Region (UA Ruhr) was founded in March 2007. This is an association of three leading universities in the Ruhr region: the Ruhr University Bochum, the Dortmund Technical University and the University of Duisburg-Essen. The alliance has more than 110,000 students and employs over 15,000 employees, and almost all disciplines and areas are represented within its framework. The Alliance cooperates with other universities, for example, with Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, Kazan Federal University.
At the end of the meeting, all participants exchanged contacts and souvenirs.
