KNRTU-KAI for the first time appeared in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings
The university for the first time has been ranked 1001+ in the World University Rankings according to the Times Higher Education (weekly British magazine). The appearance of KNRTU-KAI in the ranking is due to high Publication activity (39.1) and Citation of scientific articles. According to the Citation indicator, KNRTU-KAI has got the 8th place among 48 Russian universities.
In addition, KAI has a strong position (score 28.9) in the field of International cooperation due to a high percentage of foreign students studying at the university and International collaborations (International Outlook) and an indicator of Innovation activity (Industry income), 47.4 points.
The results for Teaching and Research indicators are 18.6 and 9.4, respectively.
KNRTU-KAI is among the top 30 Russian universities in the field of Engineering and Technology
The RAEX Ranking Agency for the first time has published shortlists of subject rankings of Russian universities, leaders in the field of education. KNRTU-KAI has been ranked 26th among the leading universities in the field of Engineering and Technology, covering most of the subject areas from the section Engineering, Technology and Engineering Sciences, according to the classification of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education. It should be noted that there are a high number of competitive universities in the Engineering and Technology section, despite that the gap between the leaders and the others is much smaller than, for example, in the rankings of universities in such fields as Economics and Natural Sciences.
KNRTU-KAI is among the top 25 Entrepreneurial Universities of Russia
The Expert Analytical Center has published the Entrepreneurial Universities and Business Schools Ranking 2020, where KNRTU-KAI has obtained 24th place. There are 46 universities in the short list, compared to last year; KNRTU-KAI has improved its position by 10 places.
The ranking compilers have tried to assess the contribution of Russian universities to the global development of technological entrepreneurship and determine their role in shaping a new technological initiative for the future. One of the criteria for assessing this contribution are startups which are created by Russian universities graduates and presented on the global market. The research is based on the data aggregated by the Crunchbase, one of the most authoritative sources in technological entrepreneurship.
KNRTU-KAI is among the first five grant leaders of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education
KNRTU-KAI has received a grant of over 157 million rubles. The university has been ranked the fifth among 89 applications in terms of grant size. The leading research organizations applies for the grants in order to update their instrument base.
The selection of grants has been carried out as a part of the implementation the Federal Project entitled Development of Advanced Infrastructure for Research and Development in the Russian Federation under the Science National Project. Totally, more than 100 leading organizations have taken part in this grant program.
