Scientific forums in Harbin and Shanghai have become significant discussion platforms for negotiation of prospective research
Prof. Airat Sakhabutdinov and Prof. Mikhail Fedotov, from the Department of Microwave Photonics and Microwave Technologies at KNRTU-KAI, gave reports at major Russian-Chinese forums in Shanghai and Harbin. The work on the submitted projects is being implemented within the framework of the Priority 2030 Program.
For example, Professor Mikhail Fedotov delivered a welcoming speech at the opening of the Smart Energy and Advanced Power section of the 23rd Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP-2025). The conference was held in Shanghai and was attended by more than 7,000 scientists and experts from all over the world. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Shanghai Nonsovereign Government, Harbin Polytechnic University and other organizations.
Addressing the audience, Prof. Mikhail Fedotov noted that the scientific community currently faces a number of challenges, the solution of which would make a significant contribution to the development of key sectors of the economy through the development and implementation of new world-class technical solutions.
Kazan scientists gave reports at the IV China-Russia Forum on Science and Technology Science Intensive Technologies in Harbin. The forum was organized by Harbin Institute of Technology, the Russian Academy of Engineering, the Federal Research Center for Chemical Physics and Medicinal Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg State University, National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, and the Ushakov State Maritime University.
Such events are significant discussion platforms for negotiations of current issues of the engineering community and identifying the strategic pathway of research. They serve as a platform for exchange of knowledge, ideas, new scientific and practical results between leading representative of science, education and industry.
