The internship of Associate Professor Alina Sultanova at Shandong University of Aeronautics launches a joint research project
Dr. Alina Sultanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian and Russian as a Foreign Language at KNRTU-KAI completed an internship at Shandong University of Aeronautics (Binzhou, China) for a month. She studied the pedagogical experience of her Chinese colleagues, the organization of the Chinese education system, as well as the role of the cultural component in teaching. For example, during her internship, she observed more than 30 training sessions in technical and language disciplines, which allowed her to evaluate the practical application of modern pedagogical techniques and tools in conducting technical classes in English. At the same time, Dr. Sultanova visited university campuses, robotics laboratories, production facilities, and became convinced of the close connection of the educational process with real production and applied research.
During the internship, Dr. Alina Sultanova conducted a lesson for undergraduates on "China is the Emerging Pioneer in AI" using modern communication techniques and the latest technological trends. She organized a cultural and educational event "What is Russia? A journey through Russian Culture" for students studying business English in order to strengthen intercultural ties and broaden Chinese students' understanding of Russia.
