Vice-Rector of KNRTU-KAI Elvir Iakupov visited Minsk
Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Economics visited the Unmanned Helicopters Design Bureau. The bureau and university officials discussed future collaboration focusing on: scientific research and education, the aviation training center, aircraft testing, and certification.
The Unmanned Helicopters company provides a wide range of services for the development and production of unmanned aerial systems of both helicopter and fixed-wing types. In the last 5 years the organization has developed the line of unmanned helicopters with takeoff weight from 150 kg to 2500 kg.
In line with a national project announced by President Vladimir Putin, KNRTU-KAI is establishing a new research and production center for unmanned aerial systems.
During the meeting, Elvir Iakupov addressed the R&D team of the Unmanned Helicopters Design Bureau, who will come to KNRTU-KAI for training. The collaboration will also include an implementation of joint educational programs.
