On April 14, Friday, the specialized KNRTU-KAI department “Engineering design and production” was set up on the basis of “POZiS” JSC.
“POZiS” JSC is the sole manufacturer of large household appliances and high-tech refrigerating equipment in the Republic of Tatarstan.
On April 14, Friday, the specialized KNRTU-KAI department “Engineering design and production” was set up on the basis of “POZiS” JSC. The Department was created in compliance with decision of the Academic Council dated December 26, 2016.
The new subdivision is integrated into the structure of the Zelenodolskiy Institute for Machine-building and Information Technologies ZIMIT, a branch of KNRTU-KAI. The Head of the Department was appointed Radik Sh. Khasanov, General Director of “POZiS” Company, the KNRTU-KAI graduate in the field “Machine-building techniques, metal-cutting machines and tools”.
KNRTU-KAI high officials attended the opening ceremony: Prof. Albert Kh. GIlmutdinov, KNRTU-KAI Rector, Prof. Sergey A. Mikhailov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Prof. B.Kh. Zinnurov, Vice-Rector for Administrative Work and KNRTU-KAI Branches, Prof. N.N. Malivanov, Vice-Rector for Education, V.M Gureev, Vice-Rector for Development, the Directors of KNRTU-KAI Institutes and other structural subdivisions of the university.
