Delegation of BAYHOST in KNRTU-KAI

BAYHOST is the Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

BAYHOST promotes academic exchange between Bavaria and countries in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe including Russia. BAYHOST supports Bavarian universities and universities of applied science through its specific competencies; by supporting their collaboration with academic organizations in partner countries and by establishing new partnerships.

On Thursday, October 19, representatives of BAYHOST Prof. Dr. Claus Luttermann, Head of the Department of International Business Law at the Catholic University of Eichstadt-Ingolstadt, and Dr. Detlev Hummel, Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration in Finance and Banking, University of Potsdam.

The delegates were greeted by the Head of the Office of International Affairs of KNRTU-KAI Dr. Alsu Gilmetdinova, the Directors of the German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies (GRIAT) Dr. Ekaterina Yegoshina and Dr. Sven Rost. Dr. Gilmetdinova told the guests about the Republic of Tatarstan, city of Kazan and our university. Dr. Rost presented the German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies. In turn, Dr. Lutterman presented BAYHOST and prospects for academic cooperation between Russia and Bavaria (Federal state of Germany).

 

 

Then the guests visited laboratories and engineering centers located in the eighth educational building of KNRTU-KAI: Siemens Engineering Center, German-Russian Machine Building Engineering Center, Department of Laser Technologies, Kazan Quantum Center, Nanotechnology and Robotics centers.

At the end of the tour, the Office of International Affairs organized a meeting with the students of the university. Dr. Claus Lutterman told them about the opportunities for training, internships and work in educational institutions in Bavaria.
