Professor Andreas Michel-Thil (TU Ilmenau) conducts a series of lectures on the program "Research in Computer and Systems Engineering."

From May 17 to 31, 2019, Professor Andreas Michel-Thiel (Andreas Mitschele-Thiel) conducted a series of training sessions for students of the German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies (GRIAT). Within two weeks, the professor introduced students to the discipline "Software and Systems Engineering" in the framework of the joint educational program "Research in Computer and Systems Engineering."

The curriculum for this educational program was developed jointly with the Technical University of Ilmenau (TU Ilmenau, Germany) to prepare GRIAT students for studies in Germany.

Andreas Michel-Thil is a full-time professor at the Ilmenau University of Technology and the head of the Integrated Communication Systems group. In addition, he is the head of the International Graduate School of Mobile Communications University. In addition, he is a co-founder of two university research departments, one of which, Cuculus, is the leader in the field of open service platforms for smart metering and home automation.
Professor Michel-Thil noted a good level of training for students in his profile: “There are students who are more active than others in the classroom - as elsewhere, in general. I got the impression that the students have quite good knowledge in my subject, we were able to discuss a lot. ”
