87 years ago, the Kazan Aviation Institute was established on the basis of Aerodynamics Department of Kazan State University by the decision of the Head Department for Aviation Industry of the People’s Commissariat for Heavy Industry on the 5th of March, 1932. Over the long and glorious history, KAI has turned into a full-fledged polytechnic university, one of the leading technical universities in the country. And the annual March holiday events dedicated to the birthday of the university have become one of traditions.

This year, the long-awaited holiday, uniting all students, faculty and staff of KNITU-KAI, will take place on Saturday, March 2, at 10:00 in the CSC "KAI-Olymp".
