International projects

The university is a participant of more than 20 international grant programs inside the framework of European educational programs TEMPUS, ERASMUS, ERASMUS MUNDUS, ERASMUS PLUS, etc.

ERASMUS+ INSPIRE

In 2016 a new project within the program Erasmus+ called "Internationalisation of master Programs In Russia and China in Electrical engineering INSPIRE" was set up. It was developed in cooperation with 10 institutions of France, Germany, Italy, Russia and China: UTBM, OVGU, UNIVAQ, KNRTU-KAI, PNRPU, SRSPU, VSTU, VSU, CIT and LUT.

The core task of the project is development and realization of new Master’s program. The project is realized with the support of European Committee and European Union.

ERASMUS+

The Erasmus+ program is a new program of the European Union aimed at supporting of cooperation in the sphere of education, professional training, youth and sport in the period from 2014 to 2020.

The new program is made to assist the development of human and social capital in Europe and outside its territory. The tasks of the program involve formation of the new quality of cooperation, including:

- Applying,  distribution and development of results achieved earlier;

- Promotion of new ideas and attracting new participants from the world of work and civil society;

- Creation and development of new forms of cooperation.

The program has integrated previously functioning programs like LifeLong learning Programme,  The Youth in Action programme, The Erasmus Mundus Programme, Alfa, Edulink, Tempus and others.

TEMPUS

TEMPUS is one of the programs of the European Union aimed at supporting of development of higher education in partner countries outside the EU.

The program is one of the most longstanding. The first period of it started in 1990: Tempus I - 1990-1994; Tempus II - 1994-1998; Tempus II bis - 1998-2000; Tempus III- 2000-2006. The next step of the program – Tempus V – started in 2007. In Russia the program has been functioning since 1994.

The main purpose of this program is the expansion of cooperation in the sphere of higher education between European Union and partner countries within the context of realization of the Lisbon strategy and Bologna process.

Aims of the current program TEMPUS:

- Development of modern study courses or revision and improvement of old ones;

- Financial and nomenclative facilitation in carrying out of all reforms;

- Development and actual implementation of the police on realization of important reforms, and also development of important strategic plans and progression;

- Assistance to mutually profitable cooperation in different modern organizations and departments in specific areas;

- Financial aid contribution within the TEMPUS project.
